Oblique view of Lake Tahoe

[Lake Tahoe Oblique View]

Oblique view of the western side of Lake Tahoe and surrounding mountains looking towards the north west. The underwater section is colored in blue tones, while the land is colored in red tones. This view shows a large failure on the lake margin. The debris tongue is 7.5 km wide and 9 km long. The thin distal area is about 15m thick, the large blocks within the debris tongue are up to 20m high. The top of the failure is at about 1635m and the toe of the debris tongue is at 1434m from sea level.
